Maria Gabriela Jovel is the founder and principal of Marketing PMO Inc. She is a 16-year veteran marketer and strategist with expertise in international marketing, business development and project management.

Maria Gabriela’s corporate experience in the “major leagues” was mainly developed through her work for Microsoft, where she effectively led complex and integrated projects in multicountry scenarios. During her successful career with the software giant, she obtained several awards for her contribution through demand generation campaigns, implementation of new business models, product launches and public-private partnership programs, among others. She also managed strategic transformational projects within the company.

Prior to Microsoft, Maria Gabriela worked as Business Development Manager for government and financial sector institutions; her entrepreneurship experience goes back to the late 90’s when she started up and managed an event and tradeshow agency and a bancassurance company in her home country, El Salvador.

A Masters in Project Management from La Salle (Madrid, Spain), Maria Gabriela holds two degrees, one in computer science and another in business administration, both obtained in prestigious universities in Central America.

Her marketing and project management background, complemented with her international experience leading projects from the US to Latin America and the West Indies, added to her passion, innovative thinking and results orientation provide Marketing PMO’s corporate and entrepreneurial customers with a winning combination that consistently helps accelerate their business results.

She lives in Miami Beach, Florida, where she enjoys a fulfilling life with her family.
